KILLINCHY WIDER WORLD GROUP: will meet on Tuesday 21 May 2013 in the home of Mrs. Audrey McNally at 8.00pm.
 
HARVEST FAIR AND FLOWER SHOW: The catchphrase competition is now available and can be bought from show committee members, at the door in the Anderson Hall or at the usual local outlets. (£1 per sheet)
 
Raffrey Presbyterian church choir  is hosting a Gospel concert featuring Live Issue at Raffrey Presbyterian Church on Friday 31st May at 8pm. Proceeds in aid of church funds.

FUNDRAISING TABLE QUIZ -This summer, Julie Murray will be co-leading a team to South Africa with Youth for Christ from 29th July to 10th August. Julie is organising a fundraising table quiz in the church hall on
Friday 24th May at 7.00pm. Teams can be up to six people- Tea and coffee will be served with scones, jam and cream provided by Knotts and Harlequin bakery, Newtownards. Julie would appreciate your support!

Harvest Fair & Flower Show Schedule plus Children's art competition coming soon.

Harvest Fair and Flower Show: A meeting of the organising committee  will be held in the Committee Room of the Church Hall at 7.30pm on 14th May.
 
CHURCH FLOWER ROTA:  If you would like to contribute to this area of our Ministry by providing flowers for the church there are still some dates available during 2013. Please leave your name and telephone number at the church office or speak to Mrs Sandra Finlay.
 
CRECHE facilities are available every Sunday morning during the Service in the downstairs room off the Anderson Hall.  For further information speak to Mrs Lesley McKenzie.
 
PW Annual Meeting: Will be held on Thursday 9th May 2013 at 2.00pm in Assembly Building, Belfast, repeated on Friday 10th May at 7.30pm.  Guest Speaker will be Heather Morris, Director of Edgehill Theological College Belfast.  Also on Friday 10th May at 3.00pm there will be a seminar event with Catherine Campbell from Coleraine.  Catherine is an author and involved in women’s ministry.  All women welcome.
International Food Evening: A huge thank you to everyone who supported this very successful evening,  organised by the Wider World Group. Your support and participation helped raise the wonderful sum of £925.17 for mission work at home and overseas and also added to a great evening of fellowship and fun.
 
PRAYER MINISTRY - Sometimes we need prayer support for family members or friends, but they are not in our congregation or are unable to attend.  Sometimes we need prayer support for something in our own lives.  Our prayer ministry team is there to support people with prayer after every morning service or at home.  Alison Oliver coordinates the prayer ministry.  Four members of the team will be available after morning services to pray with you.  On Sundays when we have tea/coffee after church, the ministry team will be available inside the church building. On Sundays when we have a prayer meeting after the service, the team will be available in the Anderson Hall.

In response to the Moderator's Appeal concerning the suffering of refugees as a result of the civil war in Syria a special offering will be taken up on the morning of Sunday 28th April.   
 
The organisers of the Christian Aid Week collection are appealing for people to give of their time in the Month of May to assist them in the door to door collection for the relief of suffering across the world. Your help in this important work would be very much appreciated.
 
Due to the weather conditions we had to cancel the Mission Ireland evening that was due to be held on Sunday 24th March in Edengrove Presbyterian Church. It has now been agreed to hold the Mission Ireland evening on Sunday 28th April at 7pm again in Edengrove Presbyterian.

Men’s Fellowship will meet on Tues 23rd April at 7.30pm in The Muffler. The speaker will be Paul Galucci minister of Newtownards and Comber Methodist churches. Paul has been in ministry for some years and has spent a good part of that time as an army chaplain serving in a number of regiments both at home and abroad, including Afghanistan. He will speak about his life as a chaplain and how it affects Christian life.


Killinchy Wider World Group is hosting an International Food-Night on Friday 26 April 2013 in the Church Hall at 7.30pm. So, come along and find out about countries from afar and some not so far, sample national delicacies, learn new phrases in different languages and be entertained by Irish and Flamenco dancers. Adults - £10 / Under 12’s - £5 / Under 5’s – Free. Funds in aid of Christian Aid, Tearfund, Life Change Centre and local appeals. (For further details contact - 07919 612717) Everyone welcome.

Sun 28th 11.00am Morning worship with Rev. Dr. Annes Nel. The  congregation is asked to meet after worship to approve the  transfer of ownership of Ballydrain Old School House from Ballydrain Harrier & Athletic Club to Killinchy Presbyterian Church.
