Today- Prayer meeting in the church after the service.

Mon 15th-  “Ups & Downs” course at 7.00pm in the Manse.

                   Session meeting at 7.30pm.

Wed 17th-  Wednesday Together at 11.00am in the Manse

                  Bible School at 7.00pm in the Muffler.

Fri 19th-     Men’s Fellowship at 11.00am in the Anderson Hall.

Church Committee - Committee will meet in the church on Tuesday 23rd March at 7.30pm. An agenda and minutes, for those members without email are available for collection in the Anderson Hall.

P.W. will meet on Tues 23rd March at 8.00pm in the Committee Room when Mrs Olga Nel will talk about her life in Russia. Members are reminded to bring three small gifts for the visitors at our April meeting.

Flower Rota - A Flower Rota for 2010 is now displayed on the notice-board in the Anderson Hall. If you would like to arrange flowers on a particular Sunday, then please contact the Church Office.

Copper Collection - Third World Group is holding a Copper Collection during Lent. All donations will be gratefully received in the Anderson Hall

GB Memorabilia - The Company is putting together items from years gone by such as badges, photos, newspaper cuttings etc. for viewing at the Annual Display. If anyone is able to lend any such items for the display then please contact Linda Jackson via the Church Office

Movie Night - Women’s Friendship Group outing will be to the Excelsior Cinema, Drumhirk on Thursday 18 March at 8.00pm to see “Coco Before Chanel”. Cost £5. Contact Viona Wilson via the Church Office to reserve ticket. All members and friends welcome.

The Very Rev Dr John Dixon, former moderator of the Presbyterian Church, will take up a position of pastoral assistant in our congregation from 1 April 2010.  He will do some visiting and conduct
a service once every 6 weeks.  His wife's name is Claire.  We are delighted that they are going to join us, and we will officially welcome them on Sunday, 4 April 2010.  He will lead his first service
on Sunday, 11 April.

Wed 10th - Bible School on the Gospel of John at 7.00pm in the Muffler

Thur 11thMarriage Course continues at 7.00pm in the Muffler

Fri 12th -  Men’s Fellowship at 11.00am in the Anderson Hall

Seed Sower Puppeteers - The Puppeteers, from 2nd Comber, will be performing stories and songs at the Sunday Children’s Group next Sunday 14 March. All children will be very welcome.

Third World Group meets at 7.45pm in the Reception room.

3rd Mar -   Wednesday Together at 11.00am in the Anderson Hall

Congregational Prayer meeting at 7.00pm in the Church

Church Choir practice at 8.00pm in the Anderson Hall

4th Mar -  Seniors Elders meet at 2.30pm at the Manse

Marriage Course begins at 7.00pm in the Muffler

5th Mar -    Men’s Fellowship at 11.00am in the Anderson Hall

Women’s World Day of Prayer Annual Service will be held in the Church of Ireland, Killyleagh at 8.00pm. The theme this year is “Let everything that has breath praise God”.

Clerk of Session - Mr Joe Tate has been elected as Clerk of Session and in a new arrangement, Mr Brian Cairns as deputy Clerk of Session. We wish Joe and Brian well and God’s richest blessing as they undertake these important roles on behalf of the Congregation.

Praise Service - Thank-you to all who donated so generously. £760 was raised and if you were unable to be present last Sunday but would like to contribute then, please contact any member of the Third World Group. 

Appreciation - Amy Dornan would like to thank Killinchy Activity Group for allowing her to fund raise at their recent car-wash and also everyone who contributed so generously towards her forthcoming sponsored swim in support of her trip to Tenerife for training with the Ulster Schools' Team.
