1st Killinchy Boys Brigade

Objective: The advancement of Christ’s Kingdom among boys and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.

Our company provides activities for boys from the age of 4 years to 18 years, normally on a Wednesday evening. We meet over the winter months from September through to April with an additional programme of activities and events on a less formal basis over the months of May to August.

Anchor Boys: aged 4 years to 8 years, they meet in the Anderson Hall from 6.30pm to 7.45pm providing the boys who take part with games, crafts, Bible stories and fun activities.

Junior Section: aged 8 years to 11 years, they meet in the main Hall from 6.30pm to 8.00pm providing the boys who take part with Bible stories, crafts, camps, games and competitions.

Company Section and Senior Section: aged 11 years to 18 years, they meet in the main Hall from 7.30pm to 10.00pm providing the boys who take part with Bible classes, games, crafts, camps, outings and various competitions where they represent the Company.
