KILLINCHY GIRLS’ BRIGADE PAST MEMBERS’ ASSOCIATION
The Killinchy Girls’ Brigade Past Members’ Association supports the Killinchy Company of the Girls’ Brigade. The Association assists by providing supper for the annual display and in any capacity where help is needed at other events.
The monthly meetings are very informal – usually with speakers on various topics, e.g. local history, guide dogs, fashion related subjects or more practical activity including making greeting cards, Christmas decorations or floral artistry. A highlight of the year is always the end-of-season dinner at a local restaurant in April or early May.
Although most of our members have been in the Killinchy Company, past members of any Company are most welcome. Currently we have one member from Saintfield and two from Raffrey, so if you have ever been in G.B. why not come along and enjoy the fellowship and craic.
If you would like to enquire about joining or just want some more information don’t hesitate to get in touch.
The Association meets on the last Monday of the month from October to March
