WEDNESDAY FEB.1: PCI Mission Ireland: www.missionireland.org
Rev. Molly Deatherage & Ballymote congregation who began an Alpha Course in Ballymote town last month. It is a new venture for both the church and town, so pray for strengthened relationships among believers and a good response to the Gospel from many others.
THURSDAY FEB.2: PCI Overseas:overseas@presbyterianireland.org
KENYA: Tomorrow the new Board of Governors of Tuum Girls’ Secondary School will meet for the first time. Pray that they will make wise decisions for this school in which there have been no leadership changes, despite ongoing serious problems.

SIBERIA: Betsie & Nadja who have had to leave Ernst & return home due to Visa requirements - Nadja was 1 year old last month. Pray also for Ruslan, an orphan, who is back living with them due to a leg and, now, a hand injury and remember the orphans of Uzhur shelter who recently heard the gospel at a camp in Ernst & Betsie’s home.
SATURDAY FEB.4: National/International Concerns: NIGERIA:
The people of Nigeria who have suffered weeks of frenzied attacks by Boko Haram Islamists and also for wisdom for the President and Police.
The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16

Annes & Olga, John & Claire, Edward & Lesley & the leadership of KPC, that all may be strengthened as they work together for the Gospel.
MONDAY FEB.6: Seminars/Fellowship Groups:
All children’s & young people’s organisations in our church & community & those in leadership who give of time & expertise in order to win them for Christ.
TUESDAY FEB.7 Family, friends, the Local Community
Marion McCann, an elder of this church, who was 101 years old last month, and other older people, both those who are still active and some who are unable to come to church.
WEDNESDAY FEB.8; Mission in Ireland: Belfast:
South Belfast Migrant Outreach Workers, Keith Preston & Michael Sentance, who have daily contact with migrants & need to find new premises as they have to move out of Ulsterville Church building.
THURSDAY FEB.9: PCI Overseas Mission:
Rev. Uel Marrs, Overseas Secretary, who left on Feb. 1st to begin visiting Gujarat, N. India, travelling widely around the Diocese & speaking at conferences & conventions –pray for safe travel and that his visit will strengthen & encourage the N. Indian Churches.
FRIDAY FEB.10: Worldwide Mission Work:
Christian Solidarity Worldwide (www.csw.org.uk) North Korea:
North Korea, which is one of the world’s most repressive regimes where Christians & others, like Shin Dong-Hyuk who recently escaped from a Labour Camp, suffer grinding persecution. Shin is now sharing his testimony with political leaders across Europe.

The crew, passengers & families of victims of the Costa Concordia cruise liner.
SUNDAY FEB.12:Our Church Leaders:

Home Group members - that their fellowship may enrich & empower their walk with God.
TUESDAY FEB.14 St. Valentine’s Day

Greater love for our God, our neighbours & one another & a willingness to forgive & understand as we work/worship together. Why not send a note of encouragement to someone going through a difficult time?

Annie, a lady Julie Murray worked with, who looks after and feeds orphans & abandoned children; also the YFC programme in Kynsna.
SATURDAY FEB.18: National/International Concerns:
The people of the Falkland Islands, where tension over sovereignty has grown between England & Argentina because of the prospect of oil reserves being extracted from its waters.
SUNDAY FEB 19 & 26: Our Church leaders:
19th. Annes and Olga, John & Claire, Edward & Lesley, the Session & Committee & all office bearers.
26th. The Wider World Group Concert this coming Friday, March 2nd.
MONDAY FEB.20 & 27: Seminars/Fellowship Groups:
20th Families of children baptised into our church and those who may have recently attended for Baptism Preparation; volunteers in Sunday School and Crèche.
27th. The ‘Growing Closer to God ‘ Seminars and the new ‘Everybody Loves’ Course.
TUESDAY FEB.21 & 28: Family, Friends & the Local Community:
21st. Family, friends & those who are lonely, ill, or in need of support & encouragement.
28th. People who have become homeless or unemployed & those finding it hard to cope due to bereavement or breakdown in relationships.
WEDNESDAY FEB.22 & 29: PCI Mission in Ireland:
22nd. Nightlight: John Luke, Linzi Cobain, Brian Simons & volunteers in street outreach to young people along the Golden Mile & Odyssey.
29th. Richie Cronin in Dun Laoghaire as he goes out door-to-door & also plans Bible Study & Alpha courses (the latter in a pub).
THURSDAY FEB.23: PCI Overseas Mission: Indonesia:
Rev. Pro. James Haire, former PCI Missionary in Halmahera, the largest of the Maluku Islands, Indonesia.. James is visiting churches there, celebrating the 40th anniversary of his ministry, teaching theology, lending support & advising as the churches rebuild their lives & restore relations with Muslim neighbours.
FRIDAY FEB.24: Worldwide Mission: Windhoek, Namibia:
Esmé & the volunteers of The Life Change Centre as they seek to educate, support & feed people from the surrounding area. Also, those from our church who are planning to go to Namibia in the summer.
SATURDAY FEB.25:National/International Concerns: Yemen:
Christians in Yemen during political instability, famine & Islamist insurgency in the South following the departure of the president.
