WOMEN’S FRIENDSHIP GROUP

The Women’s Friendship Group subscribes to Presbyterian Women’s projects.  This group, formerly called the Young Women’s group, changed its name some years ago to widen the membership.

The meetings are lively and informal with speakers on such topics as food, crafts, jewellery and even local history, and are attended by women of varying ages who share the same aims and Christian outlook.  Members of the group also get involved in other activities within the church calendar, including the flower show and the Christmas tree sale.

Group outings are popular throughout the year, especially springtime and summer, with Christmas dinner at a local venue.
